Join us at the AWM Symposium to add content about women in mathematics to Wikipedia in cooperation with the Association for Women in Mathematics! We’ll have snacks, internet access, and experienced Wikipedians who can help you start editing. Please bring a laptop and some curiosity.
What to expect
[edit]This is a gathering for anyone, from seasoned contributors to people who are wanting to know more. Anyone can contribute. No Wikipedia editing experience necessary; as needed throughout the event, tutoring will be provided for Wikipedia newcomers. If you are unfamiliar with Wikipedia, you can get a head start with this this training module. We will also have a brief presentation at the start of the event.
